Once upon a time, there was a young and innocent girl who lived in a distant village in a mountain named Jessie, but almost everyone called her “Little Red Riding Hood”. “Why she got this name?” you might ask. Well, that was because her beloved grandmother who lived in another side of the mountain sewed her an elegant and cozy red velvet. She loved it so much, and she wore it all the time whenever she goes. So, the neighbors and villagers there gave her the lovely nickname according to her outfit.

One day, Little Red Riding Hood’s grandmother broke her left leg, and she wrote her granddaughter a letter saying that she need someone to take good care of her. So Little Red Riding Hood’s mother asked her to go to grandmother’s house and to look after her until she got better.

‘Of course, mother. I’ll try my best to take care of granny!’ said Little Red Riding Hood.

‘Good. Go to your room and package some clothes for you before leaving,’ said her mother.

Little Red Riding Hood then quickly went upstairs and put some of her clothes into the suitcase and quickly but carefully went downstairs. Before Little Red Riding Hood was about to leave, he mother said to her: ‘Wait, Little Red Riding Hood, I’ve prepared some pancakes and juice for your granny, please take those to her. She needs some nutritional food to recover.’

‘Sure! I’ll protect those food well to granny’s house,’ said Little Red Riding Hood.

‘One last notion, Little Red Riding Hood, be careful when entering the woods. Don’t play around there, there might be some creatures will do something bad on you,’ said the mother.

‘Okay, mom, I’ll be careful,’ said Little Red Riding Hood.

Then Little Red Riding Hood was on her way. She was curious about the flowers, birds, deer, and other natural creatures in the woods. While she was cuddling the deer, there was a wolf showing up behind a tree. The deer smelled the scent of the wolf and was shocked and quickly ran away.

‘Come back, deer! Come back!’ said Little Red Riding Hood. She didn’t know why the deer ran away. All she knew was that she was really upset. Meanwhile, the wolf approached to her, and said ‘Why are you doing here little girl? And why are you having a long face?’

‘I am going to bring these pancakes and juice to my injured granny. And I’m sad because the deer leaves me,’ Said Little Red Riding Hood.

‘Oh, I see,’ said the wolf. ‘But where is your granny’s house? I know the forest well, maybe I can show you the path to go there.’

‘My granny lives in another side of the mountain,’ said Little Red Riding Hood.

‘All right. You just need to follow the path with pretty yellow flowers and you can reach your granny’s house really soon,’ said the wolf.

‘Thank you! Mr. Wolf!’ said Little Red Riding Hood.

‘You are so welcome,’ said the wolf with his crafty smile.

After saying goodbye to the wolf, Little Red Riding Hood continued her journey.

The wolf thought of himself: ‘What a silly but yummy human being, I must arrive at her granny’s house to catch the young girl. Perhaps I can eat up her granny as well.’ And he headed to the grandmother’s house as fast as he could. After a short period of time, he got there; meanwhile, Little Red Riding Hood was collecting the pretty yellow flowers to give her grandmother.

The wolf gently knocked on the door of Little Red Riding Hood’s grandmother’s house, and said: ‘Granny, it’s me, Little Red Riding Hood. I bring you some pancakes and juice for you!’

‘Just push the door and it’ll open,’ said the grandmother. The wolf pushed the door and it opened. He quietly got near to the grandmother lying on the bed and ate her up. He then quickly dressed up in the grandmother’s pajamas and lay on the bed, disguising himself as the grandmother to try to catch Little Red Riding Hood. While all things were settled down, Little Red Riding Hood knocked on the door, and said:’ Granny, it’s me, Little Red Riding Hood. I bring you some pancakes and juice for you! I’m here to take care of you.’

‘Just push the door and it’ll open,’ said the wolf. Little Red Riding Hood pushed the door and it opened. She gently got near to her grandmother’s bed and found something strange.

‘Oh, granny,’ she said, ‘what big ears you have!’

‘To better hear you with, my dear,’ replied the wolf.

‘But granny, what big eyes you have!’ she said.

‘To better see you, my dear.’

‘But granny, what large hands you have!’

‘To better hug you, my dear.’

‘But granny, what a bloody big mouth you have!’

‘To better eat you up!’

As the wolf said this in a scary sound, he jumped out of the bed and ate her up. When the wolf had appeased his appetite, he lay down again in the bed and fell asleep. And he even occupied the house which was originally belonged to Little Red Riding Hood’s grandmother, and brought his family, including the mother wolf and a baby wolf, to live there afterwards.

After three weeks, Little Red Riding Hood’s mother wondered why there is no news from Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother. Then she decided to go to the house and see herself. When she passed the woods, she discovered something strange, and thought in her mind: ’Why there is no trace of the wolves?’ She started to worry about Little Red Riding Hood’s safety, so she speeded up and finally got the grandmother’s place and what she saw scared her.

‘Why this place looks dirty and smelled bad like a pack of wolves living here?’ said the mother. And she assumed that Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother might had faced something dangerous, so she told herself that she had to get some weapons and helpers to fight against those wolves. On her way to find some assistance, she met a hunter man, who is strong enough to kill the wolves.

‘Could you please help me? My daughter and mother might be in danger,’ said the mother. F

‘Of course, I’ll help you. But what’s wrong?’ replied the hunter man.

‘There might be a pack of wolves that has eaten up my daughter and mother, and I think now they should occupy the house,’ said the mother.

‘I got it, I’ll get some weapons and help you,’ replied the hunter man.

Then the mother and the hunter man got some lances and a torch from the hunter man’s house. They soon prepared well and headed to the house. It was late night, the wolves were sleeping. The hunter man said: ‘It’s the best time to attack them.’

They gently pushed the door and it opened. They first saw the baby wolf and the mother wolf. The hunter man quietly went near the mother wolf, and stabbed her on her heart with a lance, she died immediately. Then the hunter man looked at the baby wolf, who slept soundly, and was about to stab him to death. Suddenly, Little Red Riding Hood’s mother said in a low voice: ‘Stop! He’s just a baby!’

‘We must clear all the posterity even the unborn, so that we will get the peaceful life back. If you dare not to look at the scene, just turn over,’ replied the hunter man.

So the mother turned over and heard the sound of the hunter man stabbing into the baby wolf. Then they found the evil wolf was lying on the bed and snored very loud, so he didn’t discover he was about to die. The hunter man quietly walked beside him with the peak of the lance shined under the moonlight. He raised the lance, aimed at the wolf’s heart, and stabbed him. The wolf cried very painfully and died. Little Red Riding Hood’s mother was the witness, and she was totally freaked out, but she knew there would no longer be creatures hurting the villagers.

After the wolf died, the hunter man cut his belly and hound some pieces of Little Red Riding Hood and the grandmother’s clothes and their bones. The mother cried like never, she was so grieved.

‘I’m sorry for this, madam. But you must be brave,’ said the hunter man.

‘My heart is full of sorrow. My daughter and beloved mother!’ cried the mother.

Five months passed, the mother finally adopted the truth that her daughter and mother were gone. She decided to team up a patrol with the other villagers to protect their village. Afterwards, there was no danger or evil creatures attacking there.
